Lamb!

Here are some lamb steaks that I made (and steamed broccoli) the other day.  They were VERY easy and VERY yummy!  I got the recipe here, at CrossFit Football.

Lamb steaks ( I poked a fork into each piece a few times before I started)
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tbsp "clear" honey (I used regular honey)
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 lemon (grate the peel up)
1 package mint (chop it up)
1 small package natural Greek yogurt (if desired)

In a small mixing bowl, mix together the garlic, honey, balsamic vinegar, and 1/2 the mint along with the lemon juice.  Also, shred the peel and mix the zest into the bowl.  Put the lamb steaks in the bowl and get them all sauced around in the mixture. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, then put the bowl in the fridge for about 20 minutes (up to an hour).

Grill the steaks for about 4 minutes per side or until they look done.

You can dip them in the greek yogurt (and put the other half of the chopped mint in the yogurt) for a very tasty sauce!

When I reheated this lamb the next day, I also put some fresh broccoli on the plate, added a touch of water over the broccoli, then put a wet paper towel over the broccoli before I microwaved it all.  The broccoli steamed up really nicely that way, and here is what it looked like:
